Rada Party: A Bar Space Full of Texture and Depth

Creating a Dynamic Atmosphere with Abstract Artistic Expression

This project fully embodies the dialogue between space and culture. By incorporating highly dramatic details, the abstract artistic expression is transformed into a perceptible spatial image. The designers have created a bar space that is full of texture and depth, utilizing overlapping levels and vague boundaries between physical objects and shadows.

Walking into the bar, one is immediately struck by the grain and texture of the materials used. The designers have retained the natural beauty of the materials, creating a space that is both avant-garde and inviting. The dark gray background, adorned with mottled cement paint, sets the stage for the cool color lights and local purple elements that add a touch of vibrancy to the space. The result is a dynamic atmosphere that is both visually striking and comfortable.

The Rada Party covers a total of 1000 square meters and features stacked boxes at the entrance, extending a regular shape that immediately catches the eye. The use of purple tones adds a sense of depth and mystery to the space, creating a visual beauty that is both captivating and intriguing.

The design of the Rada Party is not only visually stunning but also highly functional. The geometric shape of the lamp band in the local areas not only provides adequate lighting but also serves to divide the indoor space. The interplay of light and shadow between the virtual and real weakens the limitations of the space structure, creating a delicate quality and distinctive personality.

The Rada Party project began in August 2018 in Haikou and was completed in November 2018. Throughout the design process, the designers conducted extensive research to ensure that every aspect of the space was carefully considered. The result is a bar space that not only meets the functional requirements but also creates a unique and immersive experience for visitors.

The Rada Party has received numerous accolades, including the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This award recognizes the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life.
